Hairspray

If you have not seen the musical movie turned Broadway show turned musical movie, Hairspray, you need to do it. My mom, sister-in-law and myself saw it last night and it was hilarious. Just ask my mom who was busting a gut, or peeing her pants, the during the whole show. I went without any high expectations and came out with a big smile on my face. It was witty, entertaining and had great cameo appearances by Adam Shankman who is the director and choreographer and a hilarious guest judge on So You Think You Can Dance, and the original Ricki Lake. Not to mention that John Travolta did a great job as a woman, a rather large woman at that.
